Cracking my brains over our gender differences

Was reading Men are from mars and women are from venus for the third time i think. cuz i forgot what was it all about. Also to undersatnd myself and my dear little sister and friends better. well i reason if i wanna help a pal, guy or gal, then i better know what approach to use! =D so far, this is what i can understand la... what i type out is what i agree with but of course every person's different.
A man's self worth is derived from his ability to achieve results. this is why when women offer unsolicated advice is a sure fire way to push a few anger buttons. in doing so, you are implying that he is incompetent and cant do the matter on his own. The time to offer advise is when HE ASKS YOU for it.
Unlike women who cope by talking about their problems, men on the other hand, only talk about their problems when he requires help from the other party, probably someone he respects. To men, talking about a problem is an invitation for advise whereas women mainly just want you to listen. that's why we instinctively offer solutions when women talk about problems.
