HERE'S THE BIKE I WANNA BUY: THE HARO F4. AND YES, ITS YELLLLLLLLLOW!!!!

Oh boy i so long to be free from army ahhhhh!!! 8 to 5 ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! No time to whine i'll just post an email i received from an old friend i met in Ragnarok Online...

We try to keep God in church on Sunday morning..
Maybe, Sunday night...
And, the unlikely event of a midweek service.
We do like to have Him around during sickness..
And, of course, at funerals.
However, we don't have time, or room, for Him during work or play...
Because that's the part of our lives we think...
We can, and should, handle on our own.
May God forgive me for ever thinking...
That... there is a time or place where..
HE is not to be FIRST in my life.
We should always have time to remember all HE has done for us.

So oh well, this poem i found that spoke something to my heart i tot i shared wif u guys..

I knelt to pray but not for long, I had too much to do.
I had to hurry and get to work For bills would soon be due.
So I knelt and said a hurried prayer,
And jumped up off my knees.

My Christian duty was now done
My soul could rest at ease.
All day long I had no time
To spread a word of cheer.

No time to speak of Christ to friends,
They'd laugh at me I'd fear.
No time, no time, too much to do,
That was my constant cry,

No time to give to souls in need
But at last the time, the time to die.
I went before the Lord, I came, I stood with downcast eyes.
For in his hands God held a book; It was the book of life.

God looked into his book and said
'Your name I cannot find.
I once was going to write it down...
But never found the time'.

Okay although there is no such thing as god never having time for us but the poem made me think about where exactly have i placed god in my life. whether the majority of the tots and deeds in my life reflect a close relationship wif my lord or just bring shame to him. Jesus grant me more humility and strength to carry on in the crazy activities of army and interation wif people who i've met for barely a month. field camps and what not are comin up and training's shifting up a gear, i'll need him to carry me through... well, there's a big difference between barely surviving the 'torture' in NS and rising above whatever they have in store for us... okay my friends, see ya next week! here's leaving you with another nice anology about our Heavenly Father's love for us.

There once was a man named George Thomas, pastor in a small New England town. One Easter Sunday morning he came to the Church carrying a rusty, bent, old bird cage, and set it by the pulpit. Eyebrows were raised and, as if in response, Pastor Thomas began to speak.I was walking through town yesterday when I saw a young boy coming toward me swinging this bird cage. On the bottom of the cage were three little wild birds, shivering with cold and fright.

I stopped the lad and asked, 'What you got there, son?'
'Just some old birds,' came the reply.
'What are you gonna do with them?' I asked.
'Take 'em home and have fun with 'em,' he answered 'I'm gonna tease 'em and pull out their feathers to make 'em fight. I'm gonna have a real good time'
'But you'll get tired of those birds sooner or later. What will you do?'
'Oh, I got some cats,' said the little boy. 'They like birds. I'll take 'em to them.'

The pastor was silent for a moment.

'How much do you want for those birds, son?'
'Huh?? !!! Why, you don't want them birds, mister. They're just plain old field birds. They don't sing. They ain't even pretty!'
'How much?' the pastor asked again.
The boy sized up the pastor as if he were crazy and said, '$10?'

The pastor reached in his pocket and took out a ten dollar bill. He placed it in the boy's hand. In a flash, the boy was gone. The pastor picked up the cage and gently carried it to the end of the alley where there was a tree and a grassy spot Setting the cage down, he opened the door, and by softly tapping the bars persuaded the birds out, setting them free.

Well, that explained the empty bird cage on the pulpit, and then the pastor began to tell this story.

One day Satan and Jesus were having a conversation. Satan had just come from the Garde n of Eden, and he was gloating and boasting.

'Yes, sir, I just caught the world full of people down there. Set me a trap, used bait I knew they couldn't resist. Got 'em all!'
'What are you going to do with them?' Jesus asked.
Satan replied, 'Oh, I'm gonna have fun! I'm gonna teach them how to marry and divorce each other, how to hate and abuse each other, how to drink and smoke and curse. I'm gonna teach them how to invent guns and bombs and kill each other.. I'm really gonna have fun!'

'And what will you do when you get done with them?' Jesus asked. 'Oh, I'll kill 'em,' Satan glared proudly. 'How much do you want for them?' Jesus asked
'Oh, you don't want those people. They ain't no good. Why, you'll take them and they'll just hate you. They'll spit on you, curse you and kill you. You don't want those people!!'
'How much?' He asked again.
Satan looked at Jesus and sneered,'All your blood, tears and your life.'

Jesus said,'DEAL!'

Then He paid the price.

The pastor picked up the cage he opened the door and he walked from the pulpit.

No life man...
Sunday, April 13, 2008
Well, guess life in the army tho its kinda fun firing all the cool weapons and storming buildings... but then there's this longing for a normal civilian life man... there's so many things i wanna do that i used to take for granted... like go cycling far far away during the nite and waking up late the next day... going out for a meal with my good friends and just catching up, now my weekends are just so packed that i can barely meet the ppl i have yet to meet up wif for eons...

spent a nice afternoon after church this morn going shopping wif dawn for her bday present. yes, i know its very belated cuz she took sometime to think of what she wanted and we finally have the chance to do just that... jean and becky joined us too... so in the end she bought a cs lewis book... last nite wanted to arrange to meet peng and boon but then in our usual tradition, the thing dragged for a few hours and it was too late for me to go out as i've church the next morn... well, been having like 5h of sleep each day the past week wif all the crazy army activity... well it might not seem to alot of u, but i am not a person who will sacrifice sleep, not even for studying for major exams, somehow i'll fall asleep even tho i force myself to study...

hope to catch up wif driene and liyu next week... there's also shuning and sher to catch up wif... liy, mel and rar... zhiwei that joker, who's bday is next week... birthday gal joyce wish's for me, her, huimin who's in canada nannying and nithya to meet up, oh boy what a touching bday wish... well, then there's my beloved 1st 3 months clique of emma, yingjie, joyce and yiwen too... oh yes, and matilda too... most of my weekends are spent in church so i kinda get to catch up wif alot of my good frens there but its like life's just going at such a fast pace i can barely spend quality time wif anyone... dad came back this week but idiotic me dunno y i went to dota wif strangers instead of sitting down and talking to him... gosh i am such a jerk..

well, each time i look at both my stunt bike and mountain bike, i get pissed even tho i've been spending lotsa $$$ zhnging them... bloody stunt bike now so rough when i peddle that i get so so fed up, really feel like refurbishing the entire wheelset and crankset, or just buy a new yellow bike... being detached from normal life and getting heat rashes and blisters on my index finger due to placing my finger out of the rifle's trigger make me so grumpy and unhappy... such a not nice person to live wif for my family...

oh well, time again to book in arrgh so ya... gosh i want a life!!! and my dear frens who are all studying, esp the uni kids like xian, henry and shen zhi, jia you for the final lap of your uni life! run it wif all u guys got! i'll keep everyone in prayer... sms me if there's anything i can pray for you guys okay my friends?
